Analysis on recent RARARA’s press conference.

Rarara For Buhari: A Lesson For Tinubu/Kashim.

By Ukasha Rabiu Magama

I learnt that Rarara’s biggest dream is to be a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria despite his inability to differentiate between the good and bad, right or wrong. He thought being a singer was enough for one to be a minister in Nigeria.

Acknowledging the fact that he is just a mere political singer is more important than anything now; it is good for him to know that his support can only be needed during campaigns, and as a singer, a common pensionable messenger is better than you in the system.

Therefore, you need to know your boundaries.  Meanwhile, being a famous singer is enough to guarantee a ticket for you to have a say in the government not to mention deciding who is who will be appointed minister.

Nigeria is not a joke.

However, accusing former president Buhari of spoiling Nigeria’s economy is normal, normal in the sense that it is no longer news when people bite the hands that feed them. Also, Buhari’s case is not exceptional.

Rarara shamelessly accused Buhari of crippling Nigeria after describing him as the worst president Nigeria ever had. He said Buhari deceived Nigeria and jeopardised their lives with his strange and poor economic policies. He also accused him of not doing anything to tackle insecurity.

Before now, Rarara had in his several music applauded Buhari’s efforts for restructuring Nigeria, and was featured in numerous videos portraying Buhari’s achievements. But, now that Buhari is not in power, Rarara makes a U-turn, boldly faulting Buhari for ruining the fate of the nation, forgetting that he is still shining in Bubari’s name.

Had it been Buhari did not endorse him in 2015, Rarara is no nowhere to be found today. Therefore, describing Rarara as a betrayer is not a label because he only uses people and dumps them after achieving his target goals.

Recalling his relationship with Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Abdulahi T. Gwarzo, one could easily justify the fact that Rarara is a betrayer.  He once tried to betray Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for Sha’aban Sharada. So, putting all these dramas into consideration, Rarara is just a money-monger.

If Dauda Kahutu Rarara dares to betray the likes of Dr Rabiu Kwankwanso and Abdullahi T Gwarzo, his first political godfathers, then he can deceive anybody. They brought him into the political limelight but, he ended up throwing dust in their eyes. Thus, denouncing Buhari shouldn’t come as a surprise as Rarara can do more than that.

Buhari’s only crime was refusing to give Rarara a position in his government, and if not why the insult since he gained humongous funds from his allies? Given the above, Tinubu/Kashim should be careful with Rarara because there is a high possibility he can abuse them one day particularly if they refuse to honour his moan.

To this end, I draw the attention of Tinubu/Kashim to jettison Rarara and make him realise his boundaries as a singer, and if not he will keep behaving arrogant, thinking you are all equal with him and continue looking down on the ministers, thinking that he has a  say in the governance affairs of the nation.
